The Three Seventeen Story
Have you ever awakened in the middle of the night because you heard a voice? After you woke up have you ever realized the voice was God? That is exactly what happened to me. Just after 3 am one morning God said " Hey you, get up I want you to write a book!"
Three Seventeen is the story of how God chose me to write a story about how I was able to bounce back from not only the suicide of my father but also the suicide of my best friend. This book is my personal story of struggle, survival, recovery, and transformation. Come and see why the book got its name. Read the story of how everything was pointing me to the name and I still could not see it. Walk with me as I put it all together and saw there was no other possible title but Three Seventeen.
Three Seventeen is not another book full of data about suicide, but it is a book of my experiences of being the one left behind. This is a book about being a suicide loss survivor. This is my story of taking two of the worst days of my life and making the decision to not let it define me but instead, drive me. Drive me to make a difference in the world and work to prevent suicide.
Come read my story and see how God chose me, the most unlikely person ever, to write about the darkest days I have ever known and how I have taken that experience to aid in the development of cutting edge technology focused on suicide prevention.
“Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel. Whenever you receive a message from me, warn people immediately."
